Peter Neville worked as a panel beater for 30 years before securing a position with the Brisbane City Council as a bus driver. He became a member of the Rail Tram and Bus Union and was a Union delegate at Carina Bus Depot for around nine years.
Ill health forced Peter out of workplace in March 2015 and he is currently awaiting an appeal for his application for a Disability Support Pension after an initial rejection upon joining the Australian Unemployed Workers’ Union (AUWU).
Peter is a member of the Communist Party of Australia (CPA) and is currently the Assistant Secretary of the AUWU – Brisbane branch.
Peter has been married for 30 years and has 3 daughter and 3 grandchildren.
